Keep Florida Fishing’s Kellie Ralston on President Trump’s Push for $200 Million in Everglades Funding

(TALLAHASSEE, Fla.) – Keep Florida Fishing®’s (KFF) Kellie Ralston, who serves as Southeast Fisheries Policy Director for the American Sportfishing Association, provided the following statement related to President Donald Trump’s recent announcement that his administration is seeking $200 million for federal work on watershed restoration in the Florida Everglades.

“On behalf of Florida’s more than four million anglers we thank President Trump, Governor DeSantis, Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott and Florida’s Congressional Delegation for making Everglades funding a priority. We look forward to continuing to work with Congress to secure the President’s $200 million budget request to ensure Everglades restoration moves forward so we have clean waters, abundant fisheries and access to both.”
