New York, New York – Five-Time NBA All-Star and Olympic Champion Chris Mullin has won the 2nd Annual T.J. Martell Foundation New York Classic Tournament. Competing against teams led by New York Baseball Legend Lou Piniella, NBA stars Ron Harper Allan Houston, Samuel Perkins and Gym Class Heroes rapper and songwriter Travie McCoy, Mullin’s team led by pulling in a 30.6 lb. striped bass during the heated competition which took place on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at North Cove Marina. The tournament was followed by an All-Star After-Party held at P.J. Clarkes on Vesey Street. Pro athletes joined other sportsmen including Co-Chairs Bob McLynn of Crush Music and Mark Weiss of 23/7 Global. The tournament was sold out weeks in advance. Second place winner Mike Coppola took in a 23.1 lb catch and third place winner Mark Weiss took in a 19.2lb catch. North Cove Marina generously donated the venue for the highly-anticipated tournament.
