Wildlife Forever is proud to announce Julia Luger, of El Portal, California, as its new Education and Communication Director. Luger brings extensive knowledge of Environmental Education and communication talent after having recently served as an Environmental Science Educator for Nature Bridge working in Yosemite National Park.
As a native to Minnesota, Julia’s experience with youth and her conservation knowledge will be invaluable for the expanding State-Fish Art Program. Her leadership will be utilized while working with state and regional coordinators. As a certified naturalist, Julia is an avid outdoors person and is often found hiking, camping and fishing.
“I am excited to help Wildlife Forever grow capacity for educational outreach and develop strong communication assets. I know the value of programs such as the State-Fish Art Contest and its ability to build stewardship. I am looking forward to continuing to expand the program and its impact on the future of conservation,” said Luger.
