BWI's Annual Meeting
BWI's Annual Event, Writing Contest Awards, breakfast and prize raffle will be Thursday February 14, opening day of the Miami Boat Show on Virginia Key. Joining in the mix of events will be presentation of the Marine Marketers of America's Neptune Awards. Timing is 8 to 9:30 a.m.; coffee available at 7:30 a.m. Location is The Peroni Lounge, an on-dock restaurant on Pier 4 directly in front of the center of the Marine Stadium. Those planning to attend should take a cab or Uber or arrange to park on-site at the show. Buses and water taxis don't run until 9 a.m., an hour before show opens.

Miami International Boat Show
Held on Virginia Key at the Miami Marine Stadium site, MIBS Media check-in is located in the Registration area (there will be a dedicated lane marked with 'Media Check-in' signage) and will be operational at 7 a.m., according to show staff. Miami Yacht Show
The Miami Yacht Show, co-owned by Informa and the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA), also runs February 14-18 but has a new location for 2019 in downtown Miami at One Herald Plaza. It has an additional "Super Yacht" location at Island Gardens on Watson Island. Free shuttle bus transportation will be available between MIBS and "Yacht" locations; check available times.
