PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – Capt. Justin Leake takes country music star Tyler Farr out on the boat for some well-deserved rest and relaxation in A Fish Not Farr, the latest episode of “Chasin’ The Sun.” The award-winning television show, presented by Visit Panama City Beach, will air on Saturday, February 15 at 8:30 a.m. Eastern & Pacific / 7:30 a.m. Central on Discovery Channel.
When chart-topping artist Tyler Farr ventures down to Panama City Beach during a rare break from touring, he hooks up with Capt. Leake for a relaxing day on the water. The R&R doesn’t last very long because, when the mahi mahi show up, all the pair can think about is filling the cooler with the key ingredient for fish tacos.
“Sharing Panama City Beach’s diverse fishery with visiting anglers brings me so much joy,” says Capt. Leake. “It’s satisfying to see the enjoyment on their faces when it all comes together on a successful trip.”
Later in the episode, a lucky viewer and his son hop on board the “Chasin’ The Sun” boat for some near shore reef fishing. After showing them how to “unlearn” their freshwater angling techniques, Capt. Leake locks the boat in position, and they spend the rest of the day battling snapper, grouper and amberjack.
“Chasin’ The Sun” then joins a parade through the streets of Pier Park for the annual Pirates of the High Seas Festival in Panama City Beach.
The fishing and coastal lifestyle television program showcases the diverse angling, diving and cultural opportunities found in the emerald-green waters of Panama City Beach. Season five sponsors of “Chasin’ The Sun” include B&W Trailer Hitches, D.O.A Fishing Lures, Dorado Custom Boats, Dulce Vida Tequila, FireDisc Cookers, Holiday Inn Resort, Humminbird, Minn Kota, Native Eyewear and Pirates Cove Marina.
New episodes of “Chasin’ The Sun,” produced in partnership with Pinfish Media, will air weekly on Saturday mornings at 8:30 a.m. Eastern & Pacific / 7:30 a.m. Central. Discovery Channel reaches nearly 100 million U.S. households. The show is also available on demand on Amazon Prime and Vudu.
