Go Mobile with Tennessee WRA Mobile APP
| April 11, 2013
The TWRA is going mobile! Now, in addition to buying your licenses and boat renewals at a TWRA license agent and online, you can also use your smartphone, tablet device or any cellphone that has internet capability (i.e. any "mobile" device) with the TWRA's new mobile web application at http://www.gotwra.org.

This mobile web application has been optimized just for folks using smaller screens who would like the convenience of buying licenses and boat renewals from mobile devices.

In addition to license sales and boat renewals, sportsmen can also use the mobile web application for harvest reporting and even keep a diary of memorable harvest events.

You can purchase any license on the new TWRA Mobile Web App that you can currently purchase using our online license system. Any other license or permit must still be purchased at a license agent or TWRA Regional Office where applicable. Scan the code to try it now!

State Parks Offer Pocket Ranger

Spring is here and with that comes some exciting news from Tennessee State Parks - a free iPhone and Android mobile phone application for park visitors on the move. Called the Tennessee State Parks Pocket Ranger®, this new mobile app will give those 'on-the-go' park goers and nature enthusiasts the ability to access valuable park information quickly and efficiently, while providing an additional level of outstanding customer service.

The free mobile app can be found by visiting www.tnstateparks.com or www.pocketranger.com. The app is also available through iTunes and Android Market. A tutorial on how to navigate the new app's features can be found on the Pocket Ranger website. Plans are already under way to format the new app as a mobile website for Blackberry and feature phone users.
